Coach Kevin discovered CrossFit while assigned to 3 Brigade 7th Field Artillery regiment as a combat medic in 2009. He brought his love of CrossFit with him on deployment to Afghanistan where he began training other soldiers in the CrossFit methodology during downtime at Combat Out Post Kalagush. After an honorable discharge from military service, Coach Kevin returned home to South Florida and attended the CrossFit L1 certification.
